Empy is an empathy-promoting Slack bot and Google Meet Chrome plugin designed to help teams communicate more clearly, respectfully, and efficiently. Built around the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and powered by GPT, Empy analyzes written messages and meeting dynamics to reduce friction, keep discussions productive, and create more psychological safety at work.

In Slack, Empy can review what you’re about to send and suggest a more empathetic, needs-focused rewrite—helping you express concerns without blame, clarify requests, and de-escalate tense exchanges before they turn into conflict. In Google Meet, Empy’s Chrome plugin focuses on meeting health and structure. It helps teams stay aligned by supporting agenda-driven conversations, sending reminders, and flagging when discussion drifts off-topic.
